GlideStrike

Last updated: 2026-09-14

GlideStrike is a single-player sliding puzzle game: you push a brakeless slime-glider across alien decks, pick up flux cores and ride the warp gate out. This policy describes what GlideStrike does and does not do with your data. The short version: GlideStrike does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no network requests.

1Information we collect

None. There is no sign-up, no login and no email field anywhere in the game. The one thing you can type is a call sign for your pilot profile, and it stays on your phone.

2Data stored on your device

To make the app work, GlideStrike stores the following only on your device, using the operating system's local storage:

  • Your mote balance, the date of your last daily-cache claim, and your current and best daily streak.
  • Per-deck results: which decks are cleared, stars earned and your best glide count.
  • Lifetime counters used for accolades (decks cleared, stars banked, motes earned, consumables spent, clean clears).
  • Unlocked accolades and field-manual entries, and the forge upgrade tiers you have bought.
  • Your pilot call sign, insignia and profile creation date.
  • Settings: low flash, glide trail and restart confirmation.

This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to GlideStrike or to any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it permanently.

3Permissions

GlideStrike does not request any runtime permission — no camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or notifications. The Android manifest does declare android.permission.INTERNET, which comes with the standard Flutter app template; it is a normal (non-dangerous) permission that is never prompted for, and the game contains no code that uses it.

4Network use

None. The game has no HTTP client, socket or remote SDK and sends nothing to any server, ours included. It plays the same in airplane mode.

5Third-party services

No analytics, advertising, attribution, crash-reporting or backend services are integrated. The open-source Flutter packages it uses run entirely on the device: sqflite and path (the local save file), flutter_riverpod, intl, gap, flutter_animate, and share_plus, which only opens your phone's share sheet with a short text summary when you tap “Share your run” — where it goes from there is your choice.

6Children's privacy

The game is suitable for all ages. Because it collects no personal data from anyone, it collects none from children under 13 (COPPA) or under 16 (GDPR-K). There is no profiling, no behavioural advertising and no social or chat feature.

7Your rights

Everything listed above lives in the app's private storage on your device, so it is fully under your control. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling GlideStrike erases all of it. If your phone's own OS backup is switched on, that backup is covered by your platform provider's policy. We hold no copy, so there is nothing for us to export or delete on request — but you are welcome to ask.

8Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
